A clinical study on the effects of dexmedetomidine and propofol on erythrocyte deformability during anaesthesia

Purpose: To investigate the clinical effects of dexmedetomidine and propofol on erythrocyte deformability (ED) in patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy.Methods: A total 522 gallbladder removal surgery were randomly divided into groups (dexmedetomidine group), B (propofol C (control). Erythrocyte suspensions prepared from each group. Then, index (EI) was measured terms RBC deformability. Moreover, endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS) activity, concentrations (NO) determined. Patients three received same anaesthesia induction maintenance, their EI Hct values assayed before (T0) post-surgery (T1). The activity eNOS group using immunofluorescence microscopy western blotting analysis.Results: There higher levels NO, erythrocytes than ginsenoside (p < 0.05). Post-naethesia control protein expression group, as evident analyses.Conclusion: Perioperative use during increases vitro directly upregulates erythrocytes.
